General Information Hours of classes are as follows;
9.30am – 2.30pm (Monday – Saturday).
*there will be a half an hour lunch break.
*the day will be split into half a day practical and half a day theory.
During the practical sessions the Academy will be run as a working salon and so you will benefit from the opportunity to work on live models, book appointments, tend to customer queries, take payments and generally work in a salon environment.
There are assigned 6 weeks holiday per year, should you take any
holidays beyond this it will be deemed your responsibility to catch up. The holidays will be as follows;
March/ April (Easter, depending when it falls) – 1 week.
June – 1 week.
August – 2 weeks.
October -1 week.
December – 1-2 weeks (depending how Christmas falls).
*note the exact dates will be given on Induction, but will generally fall in with school holiday.
